Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Application.
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Talio File Import Processing

Talio provides file import functionality that allows You to import data from PDF, CSV, XLS, XLSX, and other document formats into Google Sheets. This section describes how Your files are processed:

File Processing - No Data Persistence

Your files and their contents are never stored or persisted on our servers. When You upload a file for import, the file is processed in real-time solely for the purpose of extracting data to import into Your Google Sheets. Once the import operation is complete, the file and all extracted data are immediately discarded from our processing systems.

Processing Methods

To extract data from Your uploaded files, We use the following processing methods:

Self-Hosted OCR Processing: Files are first processed using our self-hosted Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solutions. This processing occurs on infrastructure that We control and operate.
Document Intelligence AI Service: If our self-hosted OCR is insufficient to accurately extract data from Your file (e.g., complex layouts, handwritten text, or poor image quality), the file may be processed by a document intelligence AI service. This service is hosted in United States data centers and is used solely for the purpose of data extraction. No file content is retained by this service after processing is complete.

Data Handling Guarantees

Files are processed transiently and are not written to any persistent storage.
Extracted data is transmitted directly to Your Google Sheets and is not retained by Us.
No copies, backups, or logs of Your file contents are created or stored.
We do not use Your file contents for training AI models or any purpose other than the immediate import operation.

Google User Data

When You use Talio with Google Sheets, We access certain Google user data as necessary to provide our Service:

Google Sheets Access: We access Your Google Sheets to import data from Your uploaded files. We only access the specific spreadsheets You choose to work with.
Limited Use: We use Your Google user data only to provide the file import functionality. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
No Sharing: We do not share Your Google user data with any third parties, except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., using Google's APIs).
Data Retention: We do not retain Your Google user data beyond the immediate session in which You use the Service.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service.
For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased.
To contact You: To contact You by email or other equivalent forms of electronic communication regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services.
To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
